Archaeology Preserves in Connecticut

In 2000, the Connecticut Legislature established Archaeology Preserves as a way to protect significant archaeological sites. The CT Dept. of Culture and Tourism is empowered to designate archaeological sites on the National and/or State Register of Historic Places as Archaeology Preserves. Booklets have been created for many of the Preserves in Connecticut. Some are digitized and available online. Please see the links below.
